Students worked together in schools in project-based learning teams to create a chapter of their country´s traditional wedding games and/or party games. All process was captured on photos and all games were described. Photos and descriptions from each school will be collected for an e-book.
PBL groups were formed in schools. The work followed steps:
Setting the goals, choosing the methodology, discussing the work process, research (materials, work plan, etc).
Making research about nations' traditional wedding games/party games (general overview of wedding games, why the games were played, what is the symbolic meaning behind them, if, then which "magic"/"ritual" meanings they hold, etc).
Describing findings, creating a chapter of it for eBook.
Conducting the Game Event in each school (as a rehearsal for short-term exchange).
The PBL groups were the teachers and promoters of the games. Participants: teachers, parents, other guests.
The chapter of game Book should contain: 3-5 games: introduction, historical background, what this game represents (if you can explain), detailed description, pictures of the game(s), experiences, impressions, thoughts from the Game Event
